Keller Middle School

Keller's drought tolerant landscaping stretches across the school’s northern border at Brittain Street and wraps into part of Lees Avenue. The new landscaping features accessible, concrete walkways and outdoor seating.

Conversion of elementary facility to middle school, including portable removal, renovations to create science classrooms and physical education locker rooms.

Installation of a 57,600 sq. ft. all-weather athletic field on top of existing asphalt parking lot. Benefits include:

• Reduced water use, helping to meet California’s water reduction mandate
• Better management of storm water runoff through subsurface drainage systems
• Durable, consistent and safe playing surface for outdoor education and sports
• Increased playable hours as all-weather fields require less maintenance and repair
• Reduced maintenance costs and a longer lifespan than natural grass fields
