Aquatics Center

Wilson’s new aquatics center will include an outdoor pool, spectator bleachers and a modern locker room with an all-gender area and separate, single-gender spaces designated for male or female students. LBUSD's modern locker rooms serve gender-diverse students, students with disabilities who require the assistance of a caregiver of a different gender, and students who desire privacy for any number of reasons. Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning

New energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system for the school’s existing permanent buildings. HVAC systems help create safe and comfortable learning environments by maintaining comfortable temperatures and enhancing indoor air quality.

Wi-Fi

Auditorium Seismic Retrofit & Modernization

Wilson's fully modernized auditorium retains many of its original features while complying with modern accessibility and safety standards. Renovations to the 1929 building include two new elevators; refurbished seating; upgraded restrooms; new wall and floor finishes; upgraded plumbing, air conditioning and heating systems as well as a digital control room, catwalk and new lighting. Roofing, fire sprinklers, alarm system and audiovisual equipment were replaced, and seismic retrofitting was completed.

All-Weather Track & Field

Wilson's new 400-meter synthetic running track and all-weather sports field also includes new scoreboard, long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole vault runways. The existing shot put area was reconfigured, the bleachers were painted and new air conditioning was added to the concession stand.
