Driven by a deep-seated desire to make a difference in his community, Steve Davis leaped at the chance to join LBUSD's Citizens' Oversight Committee. Inspired by his two young sons' educational journey through the district, Steve is determined to ensure that every penny of taxpayer dollars is invested wisely and transparently. His mantra? Integrity, ethics, equity, diversity, and inclusion—values he holds dearer than gold in an industry often fraught with challenges.

Armed with a Bachelor's in Business Administration from CSULB, a Master's in Business Administration from USC, and certificates in Construction Estimating from UCLA and Construction Finance from Columbia University, Steve is a force within the world of finance.

As the Senior Finance Manager at The Boeing Company, Steve oversees a mind-boggling budget of over $2 billion, including capital building and infrastructure projects spanning the globe. His knack for strategic decision-making and financial wizardry has earned him a reputation as the go-to guy for all things budget-related.

But Steve's not just a numbers guy—he's a man of the people, a true Long Beach local through and through. A third-generation resident who proudly walked the halls of LBUSD as a student, Steve knows firsthand the transformative power of education. And now, he's dedicated to ensuring that every student in the district has access to the same opportunities he did.
