Middle to High School Conversion

Locker Room Building

A physical education building was part of the conversion of this campus from a middle school to a small, specialized high school for students interested in biomedical and engineering careers. The old gymnasium was demolished due to seismic safety concerns. A new structure that includes boys' and girls' locker rooms, restrooms, a fitness lab, and a weight room was constructed in its place.

Completed: Fall 2017

New Science Building

Sato's new science building includes 16 classrooms and labs that accommodate the school's biomedical and engineering academies. Two existing buildings were demolished while a third building was repurposed for storage. These changes complete the conversion of the former middle school campus into a small, specialized high school.
